About the Youth Offer
The Telford & Wrekin Youth Offer is about empowering young people young people aged 10–19 (and up to 25 with additional needs) to access safe spaces, exciting opportunities and the right support.
We work through the Telford & Wrekin Youth Partnership, which brings together the Council, local youth organisations, education providers, health services, public health, police, town and parish councils, the community and voluntary sector, family hubs, the Youth Justice Service and, most importantly, young people themselves. The Partnership ensures that:
- All young people have equal access to inclusive activities and support
- Young people’s voices influence decisions and shape services
- We share expertise, training and resources to provide high-quality, consistent youth work across the borough
What we offer:
- Activities and clubs such as sports, arts, youth groups, and holiday events
- Support with health, wellbeing, education, training, and employment
- Inclusive opportunities for young carers, those with additional needs, care leavers and young people at risk
As part of our commitment to inclusion, families can also explore activities and events through the Telford SEND Local Offer Activities and Events page.
Why it matters:
Getting involved empowers young people to:
- Make friends and have new experiences
- Build skills and confidence
- Get support when they need it most
- Have a say in their community
